About this guide

I'm Jelle Desramaults. I'm not a financial expert or a financial professional. I'm a UI designer who got interested in investing over the past few years, and I invest my own money every month.

This guide exists because of the questions I kept getting. When people around me hear that I invest, they ask where to start. And it's always the same questions that come back. What is an ETF? Isn't investing risky? How much money do I need?

So I wrote the answers down, one short chapter at a time. The goal is to explain the simple, basic principles of investing. Nothing advanced. Just the things that took me too long to figure out myself.
